About Us
We are a Park and Recreation District that operates under ORS 266.590. The District tax rate is $.4560 per $1,000 of assessed value. The District was formed by an act of the Morrow County Court and given authority to levy funds by a vote of the people in 1995.
The District's purpose includes the promotion of community involvement, the physical and mental well being of the community citizens. Our goal is to strengthen relationships between community members of dissimilar social, economic, gender, age and racial backgrounds through recreational activity. The District provides various programs to community youth and adults. Those programs include, art, athletics, drama, music, vocational and other areas of social, education, business, and cultural enrichment.
